The Rights of Women

Part First:

The Original Estate of Man

The heart of Man, created to seek for a happiness that can only be sought through willing surrender of itself along the unitive path that ascends into the Heart of God, is a heart made for a happiness that exceeds the limits of the natural.

This excessive longing for happiness created a specific need in Man to bind his excessive desires in the freedoms of Man's original estate.

And the original estate that bound this boundless desire in Man is primarily found in the heart of Woman, formed by God from Man's own excesses to remind Man of what is necessary in himself, to guard his heart and to balance his soul, and be his faithful helper and patient companion in natural life.

It is important to note that this is all purposed before the fall of Man and is a reality distinct from the original state of grace that kept the requisite balance between the material and spiritual aspects that completed the human integrity of our First Parents.

Our original estate as a distinct reality from the original state of our First Parents are the relational requisites that exists primarily between Man and Woman and so consequentially exists also between all of the children of Mankind which were requisites intended by Almighty God to define in our humanity the necessary freedoms between ourselves that shall ultimately lead to absolute happiness in Him.

Where the original state is founded on the presence of God in the life of our First Parents, our original estate is founded primarily in the presence of Man in the life of Woman and so consequentially the presence of family instituted by God for the life of all of the children of Mankind.

The loss of our original inheritance from our First Parents left our humanity weakened and this weakness is the cause of the brokenness within all of our human families and consequently, all of our human communities as well as all of our social constructs e.g. organizations, businesses, unions, associations, cooperatives, etc.

The brokenness within all of our human communities - founded upon the human family - as well as all of our social constructs is a brokenness inherited from the weaknesses in our own shared humanity.

Now, human weakness is individually addressed by faith that leads each human being into the disciplined and proven ways of each and every honorable religion.

But human brokenness must be collectively addressed by the presence of those virtues that guide and empower each free and human act towards the preservation and advancement of the human good as well as the common good.

Both human weakness and human brokenness lead into each other but since we are here concerned with the Rights of Woman, we shall concern ourselves primarily with the latter which is human brokenness and our original estate.

We shall trust that the latter which is human weakness and the original state of our First Parents have already been given to much prior religious thought and spiritual effort inasmuch as the necessary fruits being those good and praiseworthy works which are the direct results of the effective exercise of virtue and the art of its grace are enabled to be produced as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ of all Christians and by our LORD God of all our nations most especially all of our Abrahamic kindred in faith and promise.

The Common Story of Woman

When we shall speak of the Rights of Women, we must always be mindful of our original estate as human beings. Simply put, our original estate is our original belongings to each other.

As regards to Woman, her heart belongs to Man. Upon Woman, the Almighty God has intended a natural vulnerability which is not intended in any way as a weakness but as an affinity that inspire in her a longing for Man as her protector.

This protection is more than just physical protection, it is also the labors that protect from deprivation of dignity and need as well as the preservation of life, the human good and the advancement of the common good.

What Woman in her vulnerability must naturally seek in Man must be more than just a temporal shelter of strong and able hands but also, the eternal embrace of a steadfast and worthy heart.

After the fall of our First Parents, let us be mindful that this natural vulnerability in Woman was thereafter multiplied a hundredfold by decree of the Almighty God that Woman shall endure the pains of child birth.

This pain is more than just the pain of birth, it is also the enduring of the sorrows and the labors of motherhood in all its stages in exile time. However, the divine intentions behind all of this remain the same which is to strengthen the original estate of Man which is the heart of Man surrendered in God to the heart of a Woman faithful in God to the heart of Man - this is the irresistible dynamic of the complimentary natures of the gender opposites and is the inescapable force that drive the union between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN into one life and one longing, sanctioned by God through wedlock vows and commanded by decree of Divine Providence to eventually lead to its natural consummation which is the sacred transmission of life in the bearing and the rearing of children within the institution of the human family. This is one of the greatest of all authentic human freedoms - the freedom between Man and Woman to choose to receive the gift of each other.

Caught between Man's desire for happiness and the weakness in our humanity is Woman's pain and her longing for the protection of Man and so it has always been the plight of Woman to bear the brunt of the brokenness that is the most common result of the numerous ways that effect in the person of Man, all those erroneous and excessive forms surrender that have sought to establish upon earth, the one Patrimony of our LORD God not as a way of freedom, as in our original estate, but as a means to deprive it first from Woman and then from all of the children of Mankind.

The Paternal Providence of our LORD God is not established by right of gender. For what is corporal gender to our LORD but a means towards our own corporal good? It matters not to God save for the one purpose upon which our LORD conceived of both male and female which is the transmission of human life.

The Paternal Providence of our LORD God is an eternal Office established to provide for all of creation, seen and unseen. It is founded by divine and sovereign right upon the singular mandate of our LORD God to the supreme exercise of a necessary authority of governance over all of creation, seen and unseen, and manifest through the creative ideal of the will of Almighty God invested in the supernatural Office of Divine Providence.

Therefore, if Man desires to provide for Woman through faith in Divine Providence, then Man must provide for Woman not because he is Man but because Woman is Woman and let this natural desire bind their hearts intimately together in the freedom of our original estate as it was originally intended by the Almighty God, the one common Creator of all creation.

For Divine Providence is not by any means an Office of earth which may be freely and humanly aspired to as a form of happiness by any Man in competent command of his own self for the happiness of Man shall, for as long as there is evil in our days, always lead him through Woman for only through Woman may Man be enabled to freely attain to God.

This is the common story of Woman's struggle for her Rights and is one that, were we Men wise enough even for our own sakes, must now be uncommonly attentive to for it is only upon the attainment of the correct form of understanding, drawn from all the many pains endured by Woman, past, present and in every present, that we shall regain the original intentions that were purposed by our LORD God in the establishment of our original estate and restore Man and Woman to the freedom of their original belongings to each other and the derivative forms of the human good as well as the common good that rely completely upon the preservation of this divine balance.

The one Chaplaincy

The military Chaplain is a servant of God
and a dedicated instrument of the one Peace of God.

He does not bear arms against men
nor does he exists to fight against the nations of men.

He is an extension of the good will of all nations
and a constant reminder of our desire for better days.

He is faithful to the cause of the noble military
being jealous in the observance of honor and purity of arms.

He is a keeper of our sacred remembrances
lending noble strength to the martial practice of virtue.

He is a shepherd of the souls of our soldiers
and represents amidst conflicts our abiding hope for peace.

He labors to instill in every heart, a will of life,
and gives recourse to sorrow when life itself seems lost.

He brings comfort when despair seem to linger near
consoling spirits by his gentle sense of optimism and joy.

He is patient to understand each need to be understood
and leads the anxious heart toward greater trust in greater things.

He brings the light of God when darkness is deepest
and speaks the necessary truth when and where truth counts.

He provides for the spiritual needs of the soldier
and the Sacraments that strengthen them in the grace of God.

He counsels the doubtful, the confused he guides into reason,
he instructs the ignorant in the truth and the lost he helps to be found by faith in God.

He prays for the safety of the person of the soldier at all times, in peace but especially in fields of battle, entrusting to God and Country, the victory of our noble military.

A Responsibility to Remember x

To the Numberless Stars
of the one Firmament -

To the one Solidarity
and all the Preservators
of the Path -

All persons of good will -

Entrusted to our keeping
by our precious Starshine,
the youth of our nations,
most especially those
who suffer much affliction
being in their hearts oppressed
by the curse of War
is an account of their souls,
an unfolding record of their life,
their "Arcs in the Sky".

This they entrust
in faith and confidence
to the unity of our peace
that we may from their voices
perceive what hope there is
and learn from each their life
to deepen our sense of remembrance
that we may better serve
together in our labors
to advance the cause of our hope
towards the promise of peace
and the prosperity of the peace
for every nation of our one family
of the nations of Mankind
that promise of old unto which
we each in our times
chose to forever belong
for God and Country
in time and in eternity.

Know to keep it now,
my beloved friends and companions,
and in our faithful keeping
may we be blessed by our LORD
with an abiding awareness
of the near-infinite potential
of each individual human life
above all our beloved Starshine
who deserve in their own time
a better place in which
to play, to laugh, to learn
to grow, make friends, and to live
that freedom which is their right
as the young and as the youth
far away from war
and the darkness of war.

That awareness which is written
in our sacred wisdoms
that whoever saves one life
saves the world entire -
let also it be, my dear friends,
an awareness true in our hearts
for our precious Starshine.

The Path

IN THE SAME WAY that a tree upon our world is possessed of life, so are we.

In the same way there is a breathing that breathes in the birds in the sky, in the animals upon the land, and in the fishes in the sea, so are we likewise possessed by the same living that make us all peers to sacred life.

For as all things alive in all of creation, seen and unseen, are all things immersed in the unseen waters of an everlasting substance, so are we.

But much more than those green things that grow upon our earth and greater still than the animals that fill our world with motion, we are because to our reason is granted the names and the knowledge of all these things, that they may share our voice, and the faith to apply our hearts to the keeping of our Creator's creative ideal in each our souls that we may by our lives' width and breadth, render sacred service to all of life's longing for itself and preserve our LORD's peace upon the inhabited earth which is the glory of God in all things that make us common servants to our one LORD.

And being equal in the dignity of this free and willing service to our one LORD and to our God's visible creation therefore, friends to each other.

Where we are called as human beings, one with another, to aspire to bring this hope of one Peace unto each of our nations, of the one family of the nations of Mankind, and common good will unto all of sacred life, we are made to be companions to each other, kindred in God and kindred in Country, being recast as the numberless Stars of the one firmament.

In our one Solidarity, this is known as the Path; the way of the Preservator.

Easter 2009: God of my Heart

Beloved of God, the Lenten season that culminates in the Easter Triduum at Holy Week reaches its summit today, Easter Sunday 2009, and I am so grateful to God and to all of you for having taken this journey together as a Church.

My friends, I am of the conviction that the fruit of many good things depend on our being able to continue with our nations, of the one family of the nations of Mankind, this journey of hope we have taken together; a journey that was begun at the blossoming of our lives during that first Easter morning.

These days used to pass me by like the wind, O precious Christian soul, but verily, these last 40 days have taken on a substance and a weight that I can no longer ignore in my life.

For I have now begun to discover that there is no other place in our hearts like Easter! There - here - where our Lord Jesus Christ is risen, once and forevermore - and for all humankind as a whole.

It is to that timeless place in our hearts with our most loving Jesus that we return in our liturgy and in our souls this day - alone yet together in God from always to always.

Lastly, for those who pray our Rosary of hope: This prayer, God of my Heart, is the prayer that is meant to be said with our Blessed Jacinta, our beloved Flower of Fatima, at the end of every meditation:

God of my Heart:

O my Jesus, zealous for souls,
thirsting for the love of Mankind!

Come, be Thou the God of my heart
and accomplish in me Thy will of peace.

A Very Happy Easter to all of Blessed Christendom.

Indeed, it is time for us, as one family of nations, to build a better, brighter, kinder place - a home away from Home - for all the generations of life.

We have so much to do, my friends, this time as nations dreaming together - each our particular endeavor of Country as an ark like the labor entrusted to our patriarch Noah of old, an Ark of Country, a vessel of sacred life to take all the generations of life across the midnight darkness of exile time unto the golden shores of forever at the Last Day.

Ash Wednesday 2009

TODAY is Ash Wednesday.
---<--@

THE SEASON OF LENT begins with a solemn meditation on death symbolized by the ashes that we, Roman Catholics, are to receive this day in crosses upon our foreheads as a somber reminder of the real sum of all things.

We will enter into this Season of Lent with one hope of life together, my beloved friends and constant companions, all my brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord, prayerfully and willingly, bearing patiently with each other the crosses of our daily human living that we may also be able to look forward to the experience from within our souls with God and with each other the one great cycle of all creation at the Easter transformation.

Our 40-day Lenten Journey will take us across the landscapes of the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ from meditations on human suffering, death, the pains of hell, prayer, repentance and penance, fasting, alms-giving, into the glory of the Easter transformation.

On Prayer

MATERIAL THINKING is static and physical but spiritual things are dynamic, fluid, and always in motion.

The smallest of good, when done with love in the heart, is a truth worthy of praise. What material thinking shall often dispel as insignificant, may be the very thing that gives it thought.

For the Spirit of the LORD is nearer to us than our thoughts, and more present to us than the absence that we feel in the depth of our hearts.

Spiritual things are manifest in the heart that is at work in God for purposes that fulfill the truth in our being human and therefore, whether in great leaps or small steps, advance the cause of creation and the divine purposes for which our Mankind is upon this inhabited earth intended.

Prayer breaks us free from the rut of material thinking.
---<--@

AS A RULE, my precious Starshine, prayer is always more than the sum of all that we can see with our unseeing eyes.

A soul in prayer is a heart present to its thought, a walk across the vast, empty deserts within, a reaching out to places beyond self, a looking above from within, it is silence contemplating Silence - alone with the Alone, it is a growing, persevering, often times frustrating work born of great necessity, out of thy love of God.

Prayer is an ascent to the timeless, anchored upon ageless truth, of all the things we love and of the Love that all created things hope for, most especially by the truth of thy heart of love, and of thy faith yearning to God in prayer.

The way to God is a crooked line, for we are all but human, but the way of prayer makes this way certain; that the soul that perseveres in prayer shall indeed profit from the LORD that rewards all things, great and small, known and known to God alone, done out of love and fear of the one common Creator of all common creation, seen and unseen.

It is not only important that we pray, and persevere in this way, my love, in private, above all in community with each other, it is simply necessary for human happiness and the well-being of the still small truth that lives, like a mustard seed, inside of every self, for all things true and everlasting depend on a heart of prayer.

Prayer is spiritual, therefore, there are seasons within the soul that range from sweet to dry or empty but never must thy heart stay still, you must gather when it needs gathering and to know also when to look beyond these seasons, you must be vigilant, pressing on till you reach the heart of God to lay your hopes in the LORD - so prayer may be long or it may be short but it must always be timeless, its substance is the motion that lives like a love longing for Itself.

And when the Silence shall to your bowed heart speak, it shall do so swift as light, being spoken without words and instantly manifest to your soul as winged truth - then you shall seek to forget all other things but God and God alone.

And in God you shall range far, self cognizant of self, intimate with the Intimate, to dwell in holy remembrance of all things.

For far may your wandering heart be but to love and in Love you shall forever remain when you shall in prayer persevere.

So do so, dearest Starshine, and say Amen. Know for thy own self why the heart that believes believes only because it prays.

Ignite

STARSHINE,
your addiction is to life.

There is nothing worthy
about things that cause harm -
Destruction is only good
if it brings about growth and transformation.

So remember this
when you shall desire to find yourself
when you shall seek to one day be
as stars looking out from yourself
possessed by your own light,
being by the one Beautiful beheld
seeing far into the darkness
of our needful world:
Make no provision in your heart
for evil things: Here, Now.

For there will come a time in your life
when you shall be confused
when you shall cross an imperceptible threshold
into an in-between world -
By the ebb and flow tides of shadow and light,
you shall wander alone with the Alone
and you will be compelled to look for those things
that are meant to be yours
as well as forced to shed away all other things
that should no-wise belong to you.

So listen to good counsel, Beloved of God,
for it is better not to begin weeping
than to weep until the tears that was begun
are all shed away by your weeping
for before you can shed your own starlight,
our most precious Starshine,
before the love in your heart ignites,
you must first shed away all your tears.

Starshine and Truelight

THE IMMENSE VALUE of our youth shall not be lost to our one Solidarity. They are the source of constant rejuvenation to our community.

We shall serve them in spirit through a concept of a magazine for our youth.

This publication shall be called "Starshine". It will be a wisdom-based publication - more than non-denominational, more than inter-faith, it will be completely human, completely safe and completely edible to the constantly searching souls of our young people.

It will serve to introduce them to the vast spiritual patrimony of our shared humantity and reflecting these things in the right light, make them practical to our times as well as relevant to the peace which is the charism of our community.

Given the climate of today, it will serve to counter the pervasiveness of toxic materials that poison the mind and hearts of our little ones.

"Truelight" is the counterpart magazine for our mature membership. It will be mainly about Jesus Christ, our one Truelight - as well as articles relevant to our mature membership. It will also be based on topics reflected in the right light, descending not into the gravity of division, it shall be completely human, completely safe and completely edible to the mature membership of our apostolate - across all National Wings, their necessary Provincial Brigades and all Diocesan Squadrons, regular (service as well as support), ecumenical, Abrahamic and Inter-faith - and their composite Parish Flights.

Both of these intruments shall uphold respect for differences, appreciate common values and promote the charism of our community - the Peace of Jesus Christ.

On Religion with Honor

SO BY THEIR FRUITS you will know them.

Matthew 7: 20
---<--@

THE FIRST AND ONLY prohibition of our good LORD to our first parents was to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This prohibition is symbolic of a choice: A choice to become independent from God; a choice to accept exile away from God.

For the freedom to know good and evil is to become as our Creator, the one Ultimate Judge and the one Absolute Ruler of all creation, seen and unseen. This exposed our humanity to sin.

It was this choice that destroyed our original liberty.

It was this choice that overthrew the original order of the visible universe.

It was this choice that turned our heritage of life and of light into an abyss of sin and of death.

And it was a choice that was not freely undertaken by our first parents but was the result of the willfull interference of Satan with our eternal destiny as the one whole lineage of the generations of Man.

Indeed, it was this choice that stole from us, our one peace.

Thus, in the eyes of our LORD and of all of heaven, we are all victims by first principle.

Now, my dear Christian soul, our most loving Jesus Christ commanded each and every one of us to produce eternal fruit which is fruit that is edible for all mankind and good for all time.

I offer you that both the fruits of the other trees of the garden of our faded Eden mentioned in Genesis and the fruit that is mentioned by our Lord Christ here in the Gospel of Matthew is the same.

It is the fruit of virtue which is right action.

And those trees of old, my beloved friend and companion, are symbolic not only of each and every human person gifted with a timeless soul, these tress are also symbolic of each and every one of our nations gifted by our LORD to all mankind for the building up of the good of the human communities of our inhabited earth, the sheltering of the life of our shared humanity and the advancement of the one peace of our one human race.

Beloved of God, Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace.

Regardless of how one is so religiously inclined to take into his or her heart, the one person of the one Savior of all humankind, our most loving Jesus Christ is real - his ageless teachings are real, his substance and his being is real and his love for all of the nations of the one family of the nations of mankind is real.

He is the one Truelight of our shared humanity.

In the one Solidarity, Jesus Christ is our Exemplar, the First of our First Magnitudes.

There is more to our existence, my beloved friend and constant companion, than war and suffering, let us strive to produce the fruits of our honorable religion and rejoice in the dawning of our hope for the Peace of Christ is upon our poor world - for our good and the good of all men and women of good will.

Let us therefore, cultivate in the garden of our hearts with God, the trees of our true selves and produce for our LORD and for each other the fruits of a good and honorable religion - worship our one LORD with honor and serve God's Kingdom of Peace with both virtue and light that we may bless our Creator's creation with every kind of good thing that is edible unto all mankind, each of us bearing those fruits which are eternally pleasing to our one God.

Let us compete in good works, one honorable religion with another, one faithful nation with another, and become for our poor world what Jesus Christ - however we perceive him to be - would have each of us be - both as individual human beings and as individual human nations - as good trees bearing those much needed good fruits of every kind for all mankind; fruit that is edible unto all men, women and children of every nation of the one family of the nations of mankind which are fruits that remain good and sweet for our one LORD for all time.

Loyalty to Christ and His Church

OUR BEING ROMAN CATHOLIC is not a distinction that separates us from the rest of suffering humanity.

Our being Christian in general and Roman Catholic in particular is not a clique that makes us a cut above the rest but a responsibility to serve all souls without distinction that make us belong all the more clearly to all human hope.

For the certitude of faith that we gain from our loving and confident obedience to the teaching Magisterium of our Holy Mother Church is not something to be selfishly enjoyed but something to be openly and honorably shared on behalf of Christ with the rest of our common peers in common creation.

This open and honorable sharing is a hallmark of our one Solidarity and shall by thought, word and deed constitute our common witness to our poor and needful world of the timeless majesty and utter necessity of Jesus Christ - our everliving Word - to all the restless souls of mankind who, without exception, desire a peace that only the one Savior of humankind can provide.

Therefore, in the course of our accomplishing of this mission of our apostlate, I should like to point out two things which shall form the bedrock foundations of the activities of our one Solidarity; two things that shall keep our apostolate relevant in exile time - loyalty to the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist and loyalty to the Vicar of Christ on earth.

And I would that we shall each prayerfully consider at this time these and ponder on them - ponder on how these two loyalties coalesce in our hearts into one, right and honorable Christian action which is the bearing of the eternal fruits required of us by our Savior Lord.

We shall return to this topic in a while. I love you all, from always to always.
